(Me and Auschwitz survivor Zigi Shipper back in 2014!)
I’m 24 years old and took part in the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Lessons from Auschwitz Project back in 2009. It was a life-changing experience and I am really passionate about the work of the Trust, especially about listening to the Holocaust survivors who share their testimonies with us. I strongly believe that we should not stand by to racism, prejudice and intolerance in today’s society.
My interests include human rights, dancing, languages, travelling and writing. I’ve lived in Glasgow, Granada, Strasbourg, Geneva and Dhaka. I am a Regional Ambassador for Scotland based in Glasgow and recently finished an LL.M in Human Rights Law at Strathclyde University.
Please like and follow our Facebook page on the side menu to connect to a community where Scots of all ages can remember the victims of the Holocaust by sharing stories, memorial activities and ideas to honour their existence.
